FAQ: FAQ

HOW DID YOU BECOME A CERTIFIED ORGANIZATIONAL SPECIALIST™?

I completed a certification course that was created by HGTV Host, Clutterbug® YouTuber, and 4-time author Cassandra Aarssen. I have been trained in the 4 distinct styles of organization and I will use this knowledge and training when designing and implementing your organizational system.

HOW HANDS ON DOES THE HOMEOWNER HAVE TO BE?

This is a great question! It all depends on how much the client wants to be involved in entire process. We will work together until the decluttering portion is complete. Then, a client can choose to continue to work with me as I implement the organization system or they can opt for a grande final reveal. Either way I provide clear guidance on how to use the space moving forward.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR HOURLY RATE?

My hourly rate includes travel time within a 30-minute radius of Norton, MA. It also includes sourcing materials (cost of materials not included), returning unused materials, and dropping off donations after each session as long as they fit in my car. I will provide garbage bags as well as sorting bins. At the completion of the project, I will provide complimentary labels.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PACKAGE TO BUY? WILL YOU TELL ME HOW LONG A PROJECT WILL TAKE?

The amount of time that a project can take is based on so many variables that I will not quote an entire project. This is why I sell packages in hour increments. The number-one factor that affects how long a project will take is the speed at which the client and I can move through the decluttering process.

WHY IS YOUR COMPANY NAME THE ORGANIZED KITCHEN IF YOU ALSO WORK IN OTHER AREAS OF THE HOME?

Kitchens hold a special place in my heart and I believe that when we organize a kitchen it results in a new lease on life for the entire home.  The kitchen is a GREAT starting point because it is manageable. Organizing a kitchen is a big enough project to feel like something major was accomplished but small enough that the client is not overwhelmed by the initial commitment.

WHAT OTHER AREAS OF THE HOME DO YOU ORGANIZE?

I am happy to walk through any space a client would like to have organized and provide feedback. Along with kitchens, I organize closets, bathrooms, additional storage spaces, and if the season is right, even garages.

WHAT ARE YOUR WAITING TIMES LIKE?

I typically book one month out. If you are looking to complete a larger project, I suggest working in 4-hour sessions that can be booked weekly on the same day and same time.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Cash, Check, Venmo, and Zelle
